The LIFE Programme will participate in the 6th Ecosystem Services Partnership (ESP) Europe Conference in Prague, Czechia, from May 18-22, 2026. The conference aims to explore how ecosystem services can address various challenges and integrate them into policy, with the LIFE Programme hosting a stand and presentation to showcase EU environment funding support.
The 6th Ecosystem Services Partnership (ESP) Europe Conference will bring together scientists, policymakers, practitioners and stakeholders to explore how ecosystem services can address biodiversity loss, climate challenges, social inequalities and sustainable development, and how they can be effectively integrated into policy, governance and decision-making at EU and national levels.
The LIFE Programme will be present with a stand and a dedicated presentation, 'How Europe’s environment funding supports ecosystem services', taking place on Tuesday 19 May from 9:40 to 9:55. The session will showcase how EU environment funding supports biodiversity conservation, ecosystem restoration and climate resilience through innovative on-the-ground action. It will feature insights from LIFE projects, highlighting practical solutions that can be replicated across Europe.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with project representatives and discover how LIFE funding supports scalable environmental action on the ground.
