Occupiers are intensively storming near Kupyansk, but cannot enter the city AFU
Russian troops continue active assault operations near Kupyansk in Kharkiv region, but enemy infantry groups are still unable to enter the city directly.
This was reported by Viktor Trehubov, spokesman for the Joint Group of Forces.
According to him, the situation on the left bank of the Oskil River is significantly more difficult than in the area of Holubivka village on the right bank. Russian troops are actively trying to penetrate Ukrainian positions and are making massive use of drones and artillery.
He also noted that the occupiers are currently not conducting assaults involving armored vehicles due to the threat of strikes by Ukrainian drones.
"We do not have such tree lines or trees that they could effectively use to cover an attack by a large number of armored vehicles," Trehubov explained.
